BIO
Teoh Kooi Pei is an artist whose work spans a variety of mediums, including ink painting and digital painting. "Reverse painting" is the subject of her lifelong artistic career - "reverse" refers to extraordinary, unexpected effects of the collision of novel mediums and techniques with modern concepts. She believes that the power of nature can be borrowed to enhance the interactions between the obsolete and the contemporary. Her works are always formed for information sharing; and draw from the subjects she is most interested in - history, mythology, and science; in particular, her recent works have explored the complex topics of God's beliefs and Artificial Intelligence algorithms.
